The Salisbury Zoo

Family Fun and Education in Salisbury, MD

A great place for a family day out.  The Zoo provides naturalistic enclosures for species native to North, Central and South America.  It’s mission is to “encourage an appreciation of wildlife and inspire conservation of our natural world.”  The Salisbury Zoo seeks to change attitudes and promote positive action towards our environment in it’s programming.  We can’t think of a better educational tool for kids today, especially in environmentally challenged times, to teach the future generations to respect our planet and all of its inhabitants.
